Leadership
A senior team with experience spanning airline management, pilot training, examiner standardization, safety, compliance, and regulatory oversight.
Accountable Manager
Leads our TRE training programs, having trained hundreds of instructors and pilots. He has served in key management positions, including Accountable Manager for Cyprus Airways, and provides operations and training consultancy with 15,000+ flight hours in jets. Currently active as a Base Trainer, he specializes in airline startups and has led training department setups for two carriers. As a Senior Examiner, he helps ensure our type rating programs meet EASA Part-ORA and Part-FCL standards.
Head of Training
Directs our A320/A330 type rating programs, having trained hundreds of pilots and instructors for global airlines. He specializes in EBT implementation, with 15+ years of experience developing airline training programs with emphasis on competency-based training systems. As an active TRI/TRE for A320/330/340, he helps ensure our courses meet EASA Part-FCL requirements.
Manager Safety & Compliance
Leads our IOSA audit preparation services, bringing extensive expertise from over 100 successful IOSA audits conducted across five continents. He holds an MSc in Air Transport Management from City University, London, and is a current IOSA RBI Lead Auditor, IEnvA Lead Assessor, and IATA instructor. He is also accredited as an ACC3/RA3/KC3 AVSEC Validator by the European Commission. With more than 30 years of experience in aviation, he has served as an IOSA Lead Auditor and Evaluator for ACS and Qualiaudit, as well as Director of Ground Operations and Security for European airlines. His career also includes involvement as a nominated person in five AOC startups.

Course prescription
The AviateXperts A320 Type Rating course is built from defined training objectives in compliance with applicable Airbus OSD and EASA Part-FCL references. These objectives are addressed in a systematic sequence.
The A320 Type Rating course is competency-based, and competency-based training principles are integrated throughout the course. Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) is a training approach that places emphasis not only on task execution, but also on the development and assessment of the competencies required for safe and effective operation.
Competency is understood as the combination of knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to perform a task.
The use of CBTA supports the development of resilient pilot performance by preparing pilots to manage relevant, complex, and challenging operational situations, including unexpected or unforeseen events.
A. General
NOTE: MCC requirement:
Where the MCC requirement is not met, MCC training is combined with the Type Rating course consisting of 3 days of ground school and 3 additional FFS sessions.
NOTE: UPRT Requirement:
The Advanced UPRT certificate is mandatory for first-time type rating applicants per FCL.745.A. Where the applicant already holds a multi-pilot type rating, the UPRT prerequisite does not apply.

NOTE - Base Training Landing Requirements:
For multi-pilot airplanes where the candidate has more than 500 hours MPA experience in airplanes of similar size and performance, Base Training should include at least 4 landings of which at least one should be a full stop landing. In all other cases the student should complete at least 6 landings.

Training for eligible TRI/SFI applicants seeking TRE/SFE privileges described in FCL.1005.TRE and FCL.1005.SFE.
Assessment: following course completion, an Assessment of Competence must be passed in accordance with the applicant’s National Authority requirements.
Course prescription
FCL.1025(b)(2).
Training for TRE/SFE certificate holders to satisfy the Examiner Refresher Course requirement for revalidation or renewal of examiner certificates.
The AviateXperts syllabus covers FCL.1015(b)(2), (3), (4), and (5), together with regulatory changes. The course is delivered as a highly interactive internet-based seminar.
Outcome: a Course Completion Certificate is issued to attendees. There is no Assessment of Competence.
Course prescription
FCL.1005.TRE(a)(5) / FCL.1005.SFE(a)(5).
Training for TREs/SFEs seeking privileges to conduct Assessments of Competence for issue, revalidation, or renewal of TRI/SFI certificates.
TRE/SFE certificate holders with more than three years of examiner experience.
Assessment: no Assessment of Competence is required for the examiner under training for (a)(5) privileges. Training is required, with competence demonstrated to the satisfaction of the tutor.
